Well just got my firewire enclosure, but having one problem with it. In iMovie I am right now being limited to that 2GB file crap so my video caputres are split to 9 mins 30 seconds each. On the hard drive in my ibook I can capture much longer clips. Question is, did I format the firewire drive wrong? I just used the disk utility in the utilities folder. I'm running os x.2. At first I thought this was a problem with the speed of the drive, but isn't since the video and audio are in good sync with no frame drops. Hopefully there must be some way to format the drive in a file format that doesn't limit me to that 2GB crap that Fat32 users and prior hated.

sorry man, but it's the software that limits you.

Yeah, but the odd thing is when I capture on the hard drive in the laptop. . . it captures bigger files than 9 mins. . .
