College apps due next friday. workin on uc personal statement. :| or actually, to be more accurate, i've been sitting at the comp thinking about working on it. :)

As someone who got into UCSD on a relitivly low GPA and decent SAT scores I recomend you write your UC essay on something that is unusual about you; something the readers don't hear about everyday;something intresting. Wait... I don't know the topic. I'm sure what I've said still applies. If you'd like I'll email you my application. It was about working at Subway

So I'm gonna write about how I started a profitable website. =D Man it's 2:30 and I still haven't started! sho.gun keeps sending me all these cool links that I have to keep clicking! :mad:

Here's how it is straight out of the UC Apps booklet:

What you do in the classroom defines only a part of who you are. How do you spend your time when you are not in class or studying? Focus on one activity, two at the most, and discuss what you have gained from your involvement.

just hope that the people actually read it. i think it's for borderline people that get things like extracurriculars and essay read.
