One of the reviewers on amazon.com said it was noisy, I hope not as I plan to keep it under my desk at work! No more warm half empty sodas!

I have one of these and it's not NOISY, but it's certanly not quiet by any means. It's probably compareable to a moderatly cooled PC.

You could always just crack open the case and replace the fan with a quieter one though.
