winamp 3

I still got my dislikes about it. but still, i'm using it.

anyways, i was looking through all the settings and i noticed in the direct sound settings that the prebuffer size is set to 1337. :D

Winamp3 kept crashing on me, so I switched back to the old v2.80

now that you mentioned it, it started to crash a lot... but only after you mentioned it. YOU JYNXED ME! :cry2:

it was kinda pissing me off, so i went to winamps site to see when the next release will be. I wasn't able to find that out. but i did find the developer builds off their forum. the newest one works nicely (with a few bugs of course. but those bugs don't really effect me.)

i hate it. i prefer 2.8x much more. 3.0 hass way too much of an overhead. I think the new interface is fugly too

the interface? i thought winamp 3 could use winamp 2's interface, but it could do a whole lot more... hell, someone could make a skin that makes it look like iTunes.

I agree. I don't think that Winamp 3.0 is very good. It crashes more, and I don't like the interface (you can use the 2.x interface, but it still has some annoying things). Oh well, guess I'll wait for 3.1 :)

i know it can use the old stuff, but i dont like the new features. The split playlist window is annoying in my opinion

but i will agree with you winamp needs some improvement. basically they really really wanted to release it and did so before it was ready. :(

Don't like the design or the skins so I'm sticking with 2.8x! ;)

the only thing that I really like about the winamp 3.0 is the opasity function that they have...I think thats really cool. And what would make it even better if you could change the visual thing. you know what I'm saying. like...in 2.8 you could change the visual to like none, osculating, and bar? And each one had a sub-feature in those, like the bar feature had thin bars or thick bars, and a fire mode, or regular mode...guys know what I'm talking about? Well...I WISH THAT 3.0 WOULD DO THAT!!!
