Just wondering what your guy's take is on this. It has me baffled and frankly pissed off to no end... about 6-8 weeks ago my comp started kicking me back to the desktop when trying to game. Now this wasn'thte normal kick back that would shut the game down. The game remains running i can click on it and it opens back up only to go right back to the desktop. Is doing the same thing just like if you hit alt - tab to hop back. Sys specs are below. I had the sys overclocked at 1.9 Gig thoguht it was the oc'n bumped it down to 1.83 was fine for a couple days then started acting up again dropped it to 1.75 166fsb all agp pci busses in spec. was fine for a couple days and started it back up again. I've tried both a 8500 and 9000 and every drive i can find and still does it so i don't believe its a problem with the radeon's. I've tried 5 different sets of via 4in1's thinking it was a agp problem. Still does it. If it was doing this in just 1 or 2 games i wouldn't worry but it does them to all no matter if its running OpenGL or D3D. Sometimes a reboot will help it other times a reboot don't help. Last night i fianlly got pissed and reloaded WinXP Pro on it. Only to get all of the drivers loaded and have it do the same exact thing. I don't know what else it could be other than something hardware wise. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this and how they remedied the situation. I'd really like to be able to play NFSHP2 or MoH;AA Spearhead without gettin' the boot all the time.
