So what? I don't think apple has a patent on good ideas.
Besides if its okay for Apple to copy off others, its ok for others to copy off Apple.

i just posted this because i think its funny how people rag on apple about "lack of decent software" yet the software is being copied down to a t.
what has apple recently copied off others? nothing as of recently that i am aware of.
{looks at the heart of Apple OS} That doesn't seem to be original.
Got left behind in dust? Also, Apple may switch to AMD cpu's. Apparently more power is needed to compete with PC's.
PC users have been using AMD cpus for years now. :thumb:

hmmm, an OS that was brought to apple when steve jobs came back to apple from next. apple updated it to be more user friendly.
making unix extremely userfriendly is something many companies have been trying to do for years. apple finally did it. thats not really copy, thats leading the pack
amd is a rumor. apple has worked with intel based cpus in the past as well. Apple is also working with the IBM 970. this really isnt copying in my opinion. apple has yet to copy the PC market and release an x86 based box. Noone has ever showed the public an apple based system running an AMD cpu. Until this happens, apple has yet to officially "copy" this.

I don't really care about iTunes. I'm more than satisfied with Winamp. As for anything made by StarDock, I won't install it on my computer so I don't know about a dock.

Minor detail--- NeXTStep was not UNIX-based. It was Mach-based.
