Best Buy has a gift card deal. (They are next to the XBOX controllers in my local Best Buy.) They look like they are in a CD case.

It has a $5 off with purchase of Video game or Acc. valued at $19.99 or more.

So buy the gift card and use it to buy a new controller or HDTV cable connector for your XBOX, gamecube, PS2... whatever and get $5 off.

I'm going to use this to buy 3 XBOX controllers (So I'll save $15) It doesn't seem that great, but it's pretty hard to find a deal on Xbox controllers (It does mention that it isn't good with any other offer, so the 10% off coupons might not work).

I am confused. so you buy a this card for how much!?! and then that card will save you $5 on a purchase? Do you mean the card costs $5 and save $10 (thus offsetting the price of the purchase and still saving $5 off $19.99 purchase)?

I do this all the time:

The gift card has a coupon for 5 bucks off a video game or accessory over 19.99. First, buy the gift card for the cost of what game or accessory you want minus 5 bucks. Then use the gift card to buy what you wanted in the first place.

Example:
Math=Splinter Cell $49.99+tax=52.99 here
Action 1=Buy a gift card for 47.99 that has the coupon in it.
Action 2=Use the gift card to pay for your game minus coupon...

If you subscribe to any gaming magazine, it almost always has a $5 BestBuy coupon good for games and accessories over $19.99.

I just got Devil May Cry for $14.99. Not bad for such a highly acclaimed game.

They have a bunch of "Best Seller Collection" games for $19.99, including Grand Turismo 3, Onimusha and Metal Gear Solid.
