View Full Version : Sorriest excuse for wontons EVER...Maruchan instant wonton

I was talking with sho.gun about these things earlier and we both agreed that these, to put it plainly, just sucked. Wontons are supposed to have meat inside. And these had...um...nothing inside? Now I've had my share of bad wontons in my time, but you can't just sell plain wonton skin in soup! juju, tweeter, back me up on this one! :)

maruchan stuff in general sucks. the only instant ramen in a cup i like are kimchi bowls.

omg...they butchered a great soup/noodle thing...its like...putting stuffed pizza bits without the stuffing...or something like tat...disgusting!

I've seen these at Shoppers at one point. I haven't seen them since. Thanks for the tho...another instant noodle cup product to avoid.

My friend told me that they only put one shrimp into the instant noodle with Shrimp:hmm:

those crack me up... back in the day, when i started undergrad, there were THREE dehydrated baby shrimp in every cup...

thanks for saving me the trouble of buying those, passwird... i considered trying out the maruchan wonton soup, but have passed every time it catches my eye because i fgured it would ahve to blow.

*me returns to munching on nori/wasabi/rice cracker party mix*

:hihi: (had to go to the asian grocery today... only place in town to get real chorizo and queso blanco for the traditional family gathering potato-and-egg breakfast skillet :hmm: :drool: )

I just saw one that had like a mac and cheese except it was with the cup o noodles. I know one of us has tried it. Fess up and tell us how it was.

i would have avoided it...before it even got close... :puke:
