Got this in the mail today. A card that you mail in after getting stamped by the dealer for the GC.

Request a C class brochure (http://www.mbusa.com/brand/container.jsp?/contactus/mailus/index.jsp)

And wait for the mail man.

What is the trick to getting the test drive certificate? I always request brochures, but they just send a brochure. Do I need to show that I could possibly afford a Mercedes or that I am in the market for a car or something?

always use 0-3 mths for purchase time, i dont know if theres any advantage to leasing vs purchasing. and i always use my parents cars, aka much nicer than mine!

for this one, does anyone think a representitive will actually contact you?

I received an e-mail from one of the mercedes benz reps. asking if I wanted a test drive, but no indication whatsoever about any promotion offers. I think i'll go for it an see what comes out.

Well, I sent in for my test drive but truth is...I'll never buy a Mercedes until they have a sport sedan with stick shift. Can't believe even the CLKs are automatic. Yuck! :confused:

If you don't have any space to host the image, just put it on photos.yahoo.com. Couldn't be easier.

What are ya talking about? They do have sedans with stick shift. They are called C240 and C320.

Despite all this, I went with a true sports sedan... BMW.:thumb:

Yep, same here. We got the brochure but no gift card information. I will actually probably go up there anyway, since I was considering buying a Benz as my next car.

On another note, we got the saab brochure (nothing) and the ford expedition brochure (had an offer).

I got the test drive offers for the Ford Expediton and the Saab in my brochures. Got stiffed by Land Rover though. What's the one from Mercury? Haven't heard of that one yet. Just signed up for the Benz brochure so we'll see what happens.

Received my expedition testdrive today. No cert. from Saab, Mercedes, or land rover though. I'm 1 for 4. But hey, 75$ mastercard won't be too bad....

So I just got one of these in the mail, and I can only imagine that this is where I signed up for it.

Anyway, it's actually a $75 Amazon gift certificate for a test drive that I got. Be careful, because it comes in a tin that's about the same as the AOL ones. For a second, I thought I got 2 AOL cd's in one day, and almost threw it away.

Don't know if anyone else has gotten this yet, butkeep an eye on your mail if you signed up.

at dansdeals it says you have to sign up for the sport sedan. i signed up last night, but from a different dealership. we'll see.

I got a C230 Coupe brochure, no test drive offer several weeks back. Yesterday I got a test drive offer for the C230 Sedan - it's a $75 Amazon GC! It requires a stamp from the dealer, so I'm off to see them tomorrow.
Pontiac Aztek, Land Rover and Expedition all paid off for me earlier. I've been fairly lucky with this test drive stuff...

I test drive the thing yesterday. Got a sticker for my $75 gc. I also got it in the mail without requesting a brochure. I think they were mass sending it to people who worked at the hospital.

And to the guy who won't drive anything but a stick, I felt the same way until I test drove the thing. 0-60 in better than I could do with my 6 speed Celica GTS. Sales guy told me to take a 90 degree turn at 60mph without using the brakes on gravel. Handled like a charm.

Ahem, I said sports sedan...not sedan trying to act sporty. And these new entrants are only because people like me complain. Anyway, I am a longtime BMW owner and my next car will either be a faster BMW or a 911.
