I ordered 3 of these - as posted on the main deals page they were 4.95 each + shipping. Everything on my order that is at Amazon & in Amazon's emails shows it as "Labtec Cordless Desktop (PS2)" - including their picture of the product. However my emails from techdepot state:
Item Quantity Price
-------------------------------------------
LABTEC WHEEL MOUSE W/LIGHT PS2 3 $4.95 *
It's too late to call their customer service tonight so I'm going to call in the morning. Has anyone else called yet and if so what did they do about it? I also got a shipped notification email so now will have to mess with exchanging or returning.

Ordered 3 myself and it says the same thing but the confirm says:
3 of Labtec Cordless Desktop (PS2) [Electronics] , $14.85
Shipping & Handling: $6.99
Tax: $1.80
Total: $23.64
Hopefully it means both.

BTW is this stuff any good? My logitech wireless kb works well but I figure this would be good for gifts and a backup.

:bandit: If you read the description, it also says that it is both optical and trackball. I thought those were two different things.

People at fatwallet that have already received their orders said it only came with a mouse.

Spoke with customer service. If it's shipped, refuse the delivery and they will credit the full amount back with shipping. If not shipped, you can call to cancel the order. They will not honor the price on Amazon and said they are working on getting it fixed.

Does anyone have one of these?
If its a good mouse it still may be worth it.

also, Amazon is selling it here (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000659BL/epinions/102-1216579-6560919) for $3.49 :(
edit: yeah, wrong mouse, here's (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000659BJ/qid=1038685685/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2_etk-electronics/102-1216579-6560919) the right one @ $6.95.

Amazon really made quite a few mistakes and screwing people up recently. And they never honored any price they put on the web. I can't believe a company like this doesn't have a better control of what they put on their website. I got lucky this time. I was about to order three and I found out these are sold around $15 on eBay and probably don't worth reselling after adding the shipping. Also, the picture that was originally up there donsn't look like the item they are describing. Good luck to everyone who ordered.

i saw the ones on ebay. they're factory-recertified. i'm assuming the ones on amazon are new.

of wireless keyboard and a mouse is:
Logitech... The batteries last for ever in both.
I haven't had to change the batteries in the keyboard yet and
have had it over a year. The Mouse only once.
They work really well.
One to stay away from is keytronics.. they are the worst
in my experience! and you have to change the batteries every few days..
connection and how long batteries last are two things I think are important in consideration of buying the wireless. It got expensive feeding batteries to the keytronics.

I just talked with Tech Depot. I explained to them the error with the order and they told me they would issue me a full refund including shipping. In addition, since the product has already been shipped, they told me to just keep it as it is not worth it to pay the shipping to send it back.

I only ordered 1. I don't like to get greedy. It is greed that ruins the deal for the rest of the community. 10 is a stretch and it justifies Tech Depot to force you to ship them back for a refund, 1 can fall through the cracks of bureaucracy. I have been emailed my cancellation message for the order and they have issued me a refund.

I got my mouse today. What a POS. It's just a ball mouse, but it has a "decorative" red light so that it looks like an optical mouse. Stupid.
Contacted Tech Depot CS. They were surprised I even recieved my order. They are going to send me an RMA and give me a refund for the full amount plus shipping.
I knew this was too good to be true, but eh, wadayagonnado?

so here's what happened:
techdepot says they can't cancell it so to refuse shipment, which i though was BS to begin with just because some folks did get their order cancelled. but i agree.
UPS drops off the package when i wasn't home, ingoring note to refuse shipment.
i call techdepot. guy says "now when you saw that price, you know, i mean you know, you Know, KNOW that it must have been a mistake". i say i didn't, and that amazon has stuff for 90% off all the time. he gets real indignant and says some other stuff. wants me to take the package to UPS, 45 minutes away, and return it to them. i say no, because this is not my fault. he says, rudely, that he will email me a pre-paid lable to print that i can put on the box and drop back off at a mail boxes etc. supposed to come in 24-48 hours. 5 days later i get the email, but no lable. just an RMA that i would have to pay shipping on.
i call the customer service director and tell him this same story. he refunds my card and tells me not to worry about returning them. got the same email as chosenfool about 20 minutes later.
