You can go forwards and backwards with alt + left or right arrows.
You learn something new everyday. :)

Did you just read a IE for Dummies book or something? j/k
I love keyboard shortcuts, they're extremely helpful when you're on a laptop.

by far my favorite ie trick is typing the company name in the address bar hitting control-enter to add the http:// and the .com. use it ALL the time.

on macs:
delete - back
shift delete - forward
apple left - back
apple right - forward
apple h - hide
apple m - minimize
apple q - quit
apple w - close window
you can type in an address without the www or .com and it will automatically add it without any special key strokes. You can also type page titles and it will go there from you favorites quick links or history

Being as I am generally surfing 90% of my work day, Alt-Tab is by far my favorite shortcut.. bosses get suspicious if you keep moving your mouse EVERYTIME they walk buy.. But, since they can't see my hands, I can just alt-tab and they are clueless to what I'm doing.. they just think I'm typing or something.
YAY for alt-tab!!11

If you have a wheelmouse, you can zoom in and out of text by holding ctrl down and scrolling with the wheel.

it's not quite zoom
it's the view->text size.
up gets bigger and down gets smaller.
so, the pr0n pictures don't get bigger if u do this :P

Something new I learned! So, I tried it and I'm like...hey, this isn't working! My computer just must be slow though because it worked after that. This will be helpful on those websites where they decide to use size 4 font because it's "artistic".

ohh how bout these. i just remembered them:
shift+click(on link) = opens link in new window
ctrl+click (on explorer windows. example: while browsing through "my documents" folder) = opens folder in new window
alt+space+n = minimize window
alt+space+x = maximize window
f4 (in browser) = takes ur cursor(is it the cursor? the line that blinks where u're typing) up to the address toolbar. ready for u to type away.
ctrl+alt+del + ctrl+alt+del when comp freezes while playing games on windows ME  = solves your problem for at least 20 minutes
:P

You can also move back and forth in your history by pressing shift and scrolling with the wheel. I just found out by hitting it instead of ctrl.
