livonia. a nice 45 mile drive from my parents. dont know if i will move down there though, cuz eventually i want to move to chicago. my fiance will be going to wayne state for grad school.
i will travel all over the U.S. to major cities. i'm excited about it. I definitely dont mind traveling to places that are warmer than MI this time of year :D

business travel rules
of course, i don't get to do that anymore :bawl:
seriously consider moving. i assume you'd be taking 696-275 to be getting down there? if so, that drive is a bitch at rush hour (although coming from the east, rather than from the west, it's not as bad).
of course, if you're going to be spending a majority of your time on the road, then you're better off living at home and banking the money you'd be spending to rent a place you'd rarely see.
also, how long is your fiance going to be in grad school for? if it's a couple years, a move to livonia wouldn't be bad....she'd only be 20-25 minutes from wayne state, you'd be close to work, and the airport is only about 20 minutes away too :)
