AHHH
i overclocked my plain geforce 3 to 240mhz core and 540mhz memmory being the dumbass i am.
fire up battlefield 1942 and i played for a good hour before my screen turned into a blurred mix of vertical lines and game scenary. My comp shut off a few sec later. I fire it back up like i always do afer a crash like that and it goes past the windows xp pro screen into a BSOD for about a second before it shuts off. the BSOD is on so quick i cant read what it says.
couple hours later i am back up and running after a reformat although there is one quirk:
when i got everything running, my network card wouldnt work, no lights no nothing. checked for IRQ conflicts and the likes nothing, new drivers nothing, no lights on the card at all. moved it down a PCI slot and it worked fine. i think i fryed the pci slot during the video card overlclocking, is that possible?
im just happy my gf3 made it out alive
