Ahhh,the world finally makes sense again, LK has broadband. Enough of the 36k modem speeds and random disconnects. Enough of being shackled to a phone cord. Now I can roam my apartment like I should be able to. Take my computer where I want to! Ahhh, freedom.

2wire bandwidth = 458.8
Dslreports=1017 down, 214 up


2wire must calculate differently. Nevertheless, I was downloading yesterday at 91kbps, which is about 30x faster than the fastest I had with my craptastic modem.

It has only taken me 2.5 years to get broadband back after moving from the dorms in undergrad.

Don't you still need an active phone line to get DSL??? I just use my cell phone for all my calls so I went the cable tv and internet route instead of DSL. I hate Verizon and their DSL login crapola.

Anyways congrats on the broadband...you may resume all your queued downloads of "stuff" ;)

Old modem just died...had a spare, so I tested it...quite the difference!
