Granted I did think someone had actually fingered out how to load OSX on a Pentium based computer... but ahh hell.. screw it. I laughed :P

is it actually possible to run any mac os on a pc? just wondering. not that im going to do it, just curious.

Yeah, but you need a 68k hardware emulator to do it. http://www.uni-mainz.de/~bauec002/B2Main.html

actaully, here in the Bay Area at Apple HQ, they have Jaguar OSX up and running on a PC platform. They are running tests to see how well it operates. Only one system that is configured like that...

what about the other way around, linux or windows, would either work on mac hardware?

linux works and there is a windows emulator. Works nice but only on fast hardware.

winnt has a powerpc build included on the cd, but i never tried to install it, and i never will try.
linux has many various builds that run on powerPC architecture
W on x86 is rumored. There arent any pictures that show it is in fact true. You can run the base system, darwin, on x86, but not the gui.
