S: College finals

so this coming up friday i have a paper due for writing. its worth 30% of my grade. good news is i think i just have to get a C on it to pass the class with a C, but it screws up my GPA. still i can prob get a 3.0 in everything but ugh. then next week, bio final on monday. havent studied for that yet. going to cram all weekend. then the following friday, the 13th, chem final. gotta learn enough so i can b.s. that final. arg!!! stupid first year of college and lower division classes.:angry:

Finals just suck most of the time, although I have a few niec fun projects.... but yeah finals are horrid.

I love public health classes. My grade is so high, I don't even have to take the final. :D

Why am I taking a public health final? I have to take two "synthesis courses" to graduate. this was one i could take to fufill that (I was hoping it was easy, and it is).

3 finals down and 1 to go. :D Finals have their pros and cons

Cons: Big part of grade on one test. Multiple difficult tests in one week. Happen to coincide with the due date of massive projects.

Pros: All the best parties happen on finals week. 1 month vacation afterwards.

I like it when you have either a test or paper due on the last few days of class, then the final 3 days after. alongwith 4 or 5 other finals. and 4 or 5 other papers. and all of it counts for about 50 percent of your grade. bah.

though, I was told by my boss that "if you can survive through finals week, you can survive anything that comes at you in the workplace. and those hiring you know that." It is little consilation to me, but it might help others to think of it that way.

if you don't know it by now, then you won't learn it in the 12 hours before you final. that is my theory anyway. and a good excuse for procrastionation.
