View Full Version : Grand Theft Auto 3 Problems

I have a descent computer, which I have had no problem running other computers on such as Diablo, Counter Strike, Half Life...

However when irun the grand theft auto it stops on the loading page and doesn't do anything from there... anyone know whats wrong with this thing?

What are the exact specs of your computer? GTA3 is MUCH more hardware intensive than Diablo, Halflife etc. Those games are at least 4 years old or more, and GTA3 is less than one year old.

GTA3 is known for its frame rate problems. I would suggest reading on a GTA3 forum for more information. There are also lots of other problems included crashing in the middle of the game too.

I guess its the memory problem huh?
I got 40 Gb.. by the way.

No, its a "your computer isnt good enough" problem. You need AT LEAST a p3 700 and a gf2 GTS to run that game decently. YOu prolly don't have a 3d card capable of handling it.
