The description is wrong on the summary only ("Save $50 2.2GHz...."), when you click the details of the system during checkout, the first part on the list is a 1.7GHz base (contains 17 in the part number). If you configure a real 2.2GHz base, the first part number changes to 22 in the part number.
I saw this yesterday and decided pass on the deal. Whoever orders this is going to get a 1.7GHz UXGA laptop, not a 2.2GHz laptop.

Well tell us when the right time comes to get a laptop with a ATI Mobility 9000. I'd like the notebook to be good for gaming but only want to pay about $119 more than some of the best Dell notebook deals.
In other words I'd like to get a notebook with a Mobility 9000 graphics card for around $1,000 not any more.

If you asked me last week, there was one. In the Dell SPP/EPP section (Teachers, Students and Staff Program/Employee Purchase Program) on 10/26 there was a way of getting a Inspiron 8200 with the Mobility 9000 for under $1000 after rebates.

Thanks for the hope.
