For people who know a lot about LCD's, I'm thinking of buying one, but being pretty uninformed about the latest trends, i thought i'd ask over here.
Here is the DELL flat panel which i want to buy today:

The deals today drop the price down to $370, shipped....

But, i am concerned about 2 things:
1. DVI input, this monitor doesn't have it, how important is it?
my Vid card doesnt have DVI output now, but i will upgrade the card soon enough and could buy a card with DVI out.

2. Image contrast ratio. This monitor has 350:1 , and i heard that this is low / middle range. Is this important? I dont play many games, btw.

And 3rd, is this a good price? I know its a good deal for this month, butWho thinks the price will drop significantly within the next 3 months?

TIA,
Rajatq2

No DVI means it's an analog model! The quality is better with DVI (digital).
