View Full Version : How to Flash RAID *lite* BIOS to FULL BIOS

Anyone have a way to convert my lame On-board Promise 133 *lite* RAID to a full-featured RAID? I'de like to add some drives, and the lite version only allows 2-disk arrays.

The more I search (and that's alot) the more I run into the same irritating conclusion:


From X-bit labs:
this MSI mainboard does not support RAID 0+1: that's the policy of Promise, which narrows the horizons of its integrated solutions as compared to external IDE RAID PCI controllers.


Looks like there is no "full" bios for the PDC20276 chip
