This deal is around again, I've seen it $10 cheaper but it's one penny shipping this time around. Compusa (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=293303&cm_vn=cusa_12_8_02&cm_cat=Upgrades&cm_pla=hpf4&cm_ite=293303#checkstore)

Actually, if you figure in sales tax of 5-9%, you are almost paying the same amount of money. Although Googlegear is a couple dollars more.

My vote is for Googlegear all the way. Rebates suck, no matter how patient you are.

Sup' TT.

I bought two months ago along with a RAID Controller.

Hey M3, I've had my eye on the Asus a7v8x raid, I heard they had a good review.

I will never buy anything again from googlegear.com. They had the wrong description on a harddrive and won't take it back without charging me their standard 15% restocking fee. I could understand the fee if it was my fault, but there site was wrong and they even corrected it after I pointed it out, but they still won't give me my money back.

I should have known not to buy from them since they have a number of bad comments on bizrate.

I had a problem once with CompUSA, they presented an item on there web site incorrectly and I went a few rounds with them. I reported them to the better business bureau and a few weeks later CompUSA called me and couldn't apologize enough. We settled on the item I purchased plus got a $25 gift card. I know I made this long winded but what I'm trying to say is report them to the better business bureau you may get some good results and not to mention satisfaction.

They (googlegear.com) link directly to some sites like bizrate, so I have already posted on those sites. After informing them of the postings on bizrate, here, and other sites, they are willing to drop the 15% fee. Once I officially have my money back, I will post the information. Too bad it took all that to get them to do something. I don't think I will ever buy from them again. I shouldn't have needed to 'yell' so loudly. It is a shame because they do have good prices and products, but one $200 failed purchase and your out all the money you saved.
