freak me out

i was just on a site and this pop up really got my attention.
it came up as an AIM window and even had the familiar AIM sound when someone types a new message. it put up a few advertising messages/AIM sounds, and then it said it was putting me on it's buddy list and left. i didn't even have to X it out.

who thought this up? genius, pure genius. it so got my attention.
