I recently bought a D-Link Wireless Access Point and it only works with 802.11a standard. So I'm stuck buying 802.11a wireless cards for my PC. After researching around, the cheapest PCI Wireless network card is the Netgear HA311 PCI Adapter Card, which Mwave.com offers at around 140 bucks. I couldn't find any USB format for the 802.11a standard. So if you are looking for a cheap network PCI wireless card, go get it at Mwave.com. Hope that helps.
