I installed one on friends comp a while back. Its an ok card. The drivers seemed a bit sketchy, but nothing like the creative's. I think I'd go with the turtle beach over the philips though.

Turtle Beach Santa Cruz has cleaner sound quality. Its WinXP/Win2000 drivers are solid {Philips take note). Unfortunately there are issues with the latest games due to its using an old Sensaura build.

I built a comp for a friend using seismic edge and for some reason it kept on blue screening out of nowhere. Tried reinstalling with no luck. So I took it out and let him use onboard.
