an all in one memory card reader w/ usb and 1394 ports on the front. i can't seem to find one that has everything i'm looking for...i require:

compact flash
sd/mmc
memory stick
1394 and at least one usb port

i found this one, but it lacks an exernal usb port:

hmm, im getting an http500 error on that page so i cant see what it looks like. if you have connectors for usb on your mobo, just cut a hole in the front panel and attach a port right there.

I dont really understand how the device would be able to transfer data thru its 1394 port if its goung to use USB 1.1 to connect to the computer.
USB 1.1 is like 12mb/sec and firewire is like a lot lot faster than that.
i really dont think this device is worth it.
But I sure would like some more insight on this pretty new device.;)

But I sure would like some more insight on this pretty new device.;) if you look at the back there is a usb and firewire connector. just hook up the firewire on the back of this thing and on to the port found on most firewire cards.

aglio, i just looked at the pic. if you wanted to try, you could mod it and add a usb port right under where it says "PRO III"

take a usb port from one of these:

it would take a little bit of work, but its a solution

Anyone know what size this is? Is it the same as floppy drive? I dont really know the dimensions...

Dimensions (W x H x D): 4.02 inch x 1 inch x 4.92 inchsame as floppy

ok now I really really want this, the damn thing is out of stock. But is it worth the 50 bucks?
