Man I am reading Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Rings and I am picturing one of those Dwarves getting eaten by this hippo... not a good thought... LOL Sad though really sad Poor veggie hippo...however I wouldn't want to clean up that little box

um, if the hippo just swollowed the guy, why didn't they do a "c-section" on the hippo and remove him? :hmm:
story sounds fishy to me

because he would have been aspyixated <sp?> by then, since i figure that circus' don't keep surgeons on staff..

there should be air pockets at the top of the stomach (that's what causes us to burp, after all).
it seems like they could have at least tried. i mean....give the family something to bury, instead of just picking up a convenient hippo turd to put in the casket

and I am sure after they buried that turd wonderful plants would grow in its place unless Hippo poo is toxic
haha I was gonna post this off CJ last nite but was too tired. I thought it was hilarious. Especially about the trampoline being taken in.

this hippo was apparently just chillen and some dude flew in her mouth. she didnt run through a crowd of midgets and pick one to gnaw.
now if you cut open a hippo, tell me that's an accident

Still these anti circus peeps will do anything to get these animals set free or something. Huntington Beach Banned Circuses within the city limits, and I am sure these animal rights peeps will protest either way. How could you let the Hippo eat that dwarf!!! or Why did you cut that Hippo up!!!

And lets not forget the stomach is full of hydrochloric acid. And Hungry Hippos have big hungry tummys.
And no, cutting open an innocent hippo to retrieve a body just so the family can bury it is not a reasonable thing to do, imho.

I don't know what they did I was just saying that as what Animal activist would say.
"The vets said it was the first time the hefty vegetarian had ever eaten a circus performer." Gee sure hope so.
Does this mean the hippo is no longer a vegetarian? :hmm:

I think the hippo just wanted a "little bit" to eat because he wasn't hungry.

Too bad he wasn't a clown... the hippo might have spit him out if he tasted funny.
