I thought these days would be rich in new game releases...but now I find we're in a void of new games. It though game companies released games near christmas, but it seems the last wave of games happened last month. What's the deal?

Looks like consoles are getting most of the new games. You're right, though. Good PC games seem to be rare these days.

I'm actually refering to ALL games, PC and console. I mean look at the list on ebgames. Nightcaster 2? Clone Wars PS2 (which game out on PC, Xbox already), NHL 2K3 GC (already out for PS2, XBox)

Any new releases are either games that are already available on other consoles, or crap ass games.

Oy...where's my MOO3?

This is usually a dry month for game releases. october and November are standard release months of most companies so they can get their games out just before the big holiday rush. They want to make sure their games don't get left off someones christmas list. :D

You can be sure the market will be slow and dry until March when most companies do their next round of releases.

It's getting harder and harder to find the new inovative games though. I think it's time for some new blood with new ideas to hit the industry in general...:hmm:

Its hard for games released all at once to get the space and attention they want. It doesn't bother me that quality games are released over the year, like what happened with PC games this year, than releasing to beat some rush.
