So the Sopranos season wrapped up on Sunday with one of the most boring Season Finales ever. Tony is moving out of the house because Carmella finally can't take his cheating anymore. Big whoop. Not that his personal life shouldn't be explored a bit, I just think that for a "in-your-face" type show like the Sopranos, you gotta come up with something better than that. This was not completely surprising though, since most of the season has been the same way. I don't know if they got some new writers for this season but compared to last season, this one sucked hard. I think it's good that the season is over, so that the writers/producers can go back and regroup. If next season(which is supposedly the last) is as bad as this one, I won't be wasting my Sunday nights on it.
So, any other Sopranos fans here? :heh:

This entire season was slower than the previous 3.
David Chase in gthe beginning of the season, stated this season will be about Tony and Carmella's relation ship. I found the final well acted out between the two, regarding him cheating, and moving out. I still enjoyed the season, albeit so it was a different direction the writers wanted to portray.

I agree that this season wasn't as good as the last 3, but it was still good. I probably won't get the DVD set either, unless they have another year and a half break, then I'll probably be jones'n for a Sopranos fix.

I hear both of you guys I'm not fooling anyone but myself. I'll be talkin hard for a couple of months but then I'll start jonesin for the Sopranos again. I think that I probably set myself up for failure, because I missed most of last season and so I had to Netflix em all a couple of weeks before this season. Last season was so great that I probably had my expectations too high.
I did like how Bobby Bacala was more of a focal point this season. He's a cool character. Also, watching Meadow dance around in her pajamas was a definite

I thought the season started of great and got pretty slow and boring by the end. I also wasn't too impressed by the finale, but I thought the whole drama with the homeowner lawyer was too funny. Great acting between Tony & Carmella...for a second I though his fist was gonna go thru her head and not the wall. Oh well, another season gone...guess I can watch Oz's last season + Sex & the Cty & Six Feet Under till it's back on again.
