anyways me and my friend persius were bored.
so we decided to cause so chaos. we went to local amc theater.
we got in through the back entrance, found where the power generator is. and by the way let me put it this way. every 1 was pretty pissed after this.

I thought it was funny. If this happened to me I would have had a good laugh. It's even funnier that it took em an hour to figure it out. I do feel a little bit bad for the small kids who are afraid of the dark. Did an old lady really break her hip? I'm conflicted as to if this is funny.

i thought it was funny, and i think it may be the theaters fault for leaving access to the ciruit breaker where anyone can get to it and not get caught... good one guys! :thumb:

Come on guys. They did a good cause, think of the poor girls they saved who weren't enjoying their date at all or the guys that got to feel around in the dark with THEIR dates for a bit. Or the kids who were forced to go see some crappy ass movie with their family. Their nightmare suddenly over! By leaving that switch wide open like that, the theater was totally asking for it.

It's a bit like a big red button that says "do not push" I can see how tempting it would be to just push it to see what happened. It's even funnier because they couldn't figure it out. I swear, that would be the first thing I checked.
Blueindian do you think any practical jokes are funny? You're right-- it is childish, but some of us still have an inner child that must be appeased every once in a while. I'm kinda glad he posted it too. Now we can all enjoy a little mischeif from a safe distance.

i think practical jokes are funny. but this is just stupid. first of all, i just don't see the humor. NOTHING is funny about that. It basically inconvienced a bunch of people, and probably cost the theatre a lot of money. just don't see what's so funny.

if i came to your house and flipped your main breaker to shut off the power while you were in the middle of watching a pay-per-view event and you missed it, would that be funny?

if i disconnected the power supply to your car stereo so it wouldn't play and you had to fix it, would that be funny?

i like practile jokes that involve some creativity. turning the power off is neither creative or funny.

Or whatever but you know what I think that they did us a favor. You know if two bored high schooler can get into a theatre and turn off the power just think what Terrorist can do? Huh? This is a national secruity threat... remember Russia? Terrorest held innocent people hostage.... again if two high shcoolers can do it, think what Osama's gang could do...

Now that I brought it up I would hav ebeen scared ****less if I was in tehre thinking that a big bad Terrorist group was going to kill us all....

ANyway we should thank P3rsian and for isstupid prank because now we can step up secruity at theatres and the terrorist will have a tougher time using our movie theatres as hostage holding pins....
