it would seem to me as if most of the posters on this forum believe what they are told... but for real, how many of you think a breaker for 30 amps and 600 watts can shut off the power for an entire movie theatre? sounds like b.s. to me... and what kind of movie theatre would leave the breaker open to the public? i think it wouldn't...

that seems a little bs to me as well. considering the small bulbs for the projectors run at 2000watts. the movie theater i worked for had 4 main breakers and they were huge!

they just dont put power breakers in areas the public can access... did you actually see the power go off? also that breaker is WAYYYY to small.

i don't need to... anyone with a basic understanding of electrical knows that a breaker of that size could not control an entire movie theatre. you could go turn that breaker on and off all day, and nobody would even come to check on you.

granted...moo05055 seemed a bit aggressive in saying that p3rsian's story wasn't true by posting a different thread to draw more attention. that's fine. yeah, newbs do all kinds of stuff. so did i.

tofu wants to impeach the witness against p3rsian (moo) on the grounds of his/her vocation, despite the fact that the line of questioning that has arisen has nothing to do with moo and everything to do with electricity.

the reason i felt the need to call this out is because it was stupid... he tried to turn off the entire theatre's power and in actuality turned off a sub pump, and then bragged on about turning off the power and ppl bein pissed
