My laptop needed another HDD so when I got it back, it had AOL installed so I un-installed it through "remove software" but when I boot it up, I get an error message that it can't find the AOL start-up tray icon (which I just close but...).
I can go into accessories, tools, start-up programs and see the line there as to why it's still trying to do that but I don't know how to remove that line. Anyone?

All you have to do it left-click and hold, then drag it to your desktop and drop it. Then hightlight and delete.

Windows 98/ME/XP:
Make sure the Tray Icon is removed from Start-> Programs-> Startup

Go to Start-> Run-> type in MSCONFIG and go into the Startup Tab. Make sure it is NOT selected in there.

Windows 2000:
Make sure the Tray Icon is removed from Start-> Programs-> Startup
