Spiffy design, but I'd rather have all my wires come out the back end of my pc...

It looks like a decent design and it appears you can easily access any component. One thing I did notice is that the air flow of the unit leaves something to be desired, especially if your running hard drive fans. I would be interested in buying one to see if the overall system runs hotter or cooler.

i like the design but i dont like the wires sticking out of the side either. now if they could make it with the wires coming out of the bottom but still make them easy to access i think it would be even better. that way you can get air to come in from the front and sides of the case and exhaust out the top. a lot better airflow for agp cards and still keep the same design.

i dont know if i would put a power supply at the bottem of the case since they usually pump air out and generate heat as well.

overall, its an okay design IMHO. its acceptable as a first gen design but can definately be improved on. me thinks im going to have to make my own case someday ;)

:puke: looks stupid.
Looks like something that was put together with spare parts found in the garage.

Seems like it takes up a lot more space.

Apex introduced me to the Dell Precision Cases. Very, very nice!

that clam shell design is very very innovative. Reminds me of something that some company did way back in 1998. It was a blue and white system, but i cant put my name on the name of the company

<--- hint hint :D

Very similar to a case-mod idea I had about a year ago.

The clamshell case is nice in that it's easy to open, but it's only a minor part of the design to those of us who don't open their cases all the time. As Ribitch pointed out, it was an innovation like 4 years ago.

The more important thing is the airflow is managed very well, so it can cool dual xeon's and still be quiet. The dual fan processor shroud exhausts air right after it passes over the processors, which have passive heatsinks.

It's also quiet because its walls are dual layered.

I don't like those cases, either of them.
