I have a network which is wired up the good ol' fashioned way with a Netgear router, a 10/100 switch, and CAT5 cabling.
I'd like to be able to add wireless capabilities to my network, but I don't want to undo what I've already got.
Is there a way of adding a wireless access point without playing "dueling routers?"
Thanks in advance!

Sure. You need a wireless access point, not a wireless router. Just plug it into your switch & away you go.

If you wanted just a drop-in replacement for your router, you could go with something like this.

On the other hand, if you wanted to just add something, you could go with a product like this that Jeff suggested.

Wireless is great, you must remember though that wireless is more vulnerable to hackers. I also suggest some type of security messures/programs to protect yourself. You never know what your neighbors are up too.
*Ever hear your neighbors chatting from your cordless phone?
