The BULK of my waking hours? On the computer. Why? Working.

Interspersed (spelling??) with that, reading & playing with Josh. :)

in front of a computer, either at work or at home, commuting, or talking on the phone to my GF.

that pretty much sums up my life :2far:

I'm up at 5. Out the door for my walk by 5:15,home around 6,shower,make breakfast for whomever happens to be home..which now is only me and the hub unless it's a holiday when the kids are home...and I'm out the door by 7. Head to work. Get there 7:15ish. Go through paperwork, mail, email from the day before. Department meetings at 8. Back at my desk making calls, going over budget analysis reports, statistical data, consultant contracts and various other boring stuff..lunch at 11:30-12:30. Always back at my desk by 12:15..back to making more calls, more paperwork, more paperwork, department rounds, and then down to records and transcripts dept to drop off a half ton of paperwork for them to file. I spend the last part of the day getting organized for the morning..ssdd..I punch out by 4:30, sometimes later, head to the dry cleaners, post office, grocery store..go home, get dinner going for the hub,go to cheerleading/softball/soccer practice (depending on the season)..go to the gym for a hour to use the pool,go home, and veg out in front of the computer or the tv till bedtime..which seems to be getting later and later every night because I found this addicting websight (www.playsite.com) in which I play Reversi till my eyes shut..then off to bed-sleep for a few hours-until the alarm goes off..this is the USUAL routine-although sometime it varies.

The why is more important than the what for me. A majority of my time is spent doing nothing. Why? Because I am still assessing what is really important in life and what is simply fed to brainless automatons in order to make them feel as though they are actually "going somewhere."

During school - going to classes and studying

Sat - Going to church and then after sundown going out to eat or see a movie or just hang

Sun - Sleep and study

During holidays - sleep...and some studying.

Very few of you are answering the "why" part...

The bulk of my waking hours are spent:
1) Working; I do this to make money to afford bills and to continue living a "normal" lifestyle.
2) Spending time with my girlfriend; because I love her.
3) On the computer; I do this because it is my way to relax sometimes.
4) Watching movies; it is what I do for work.
5) Eating; to survive.
6) Driving; to wherever I need to go. Whether it be to or from work or to and from a place of enjoyment.

you want to feel lazy, look up some of her descriptions of HOLIDAYS!!! they go something like this: woke up at 3 am, decorated the entire house inside and out, made a 12-course meal for 78 family members, and 200 gallons of apple butter just for fun, fed all the homeless within 200 miles, and made treats for all the kids i've ever met, singlehandedly threw a party at school for all the kids' classrooms, and won the game for whatever kids team i'm coaching.... *pant* *pant* ... i get tired just thinking about it!

i wake up between 7-8, feed evilgremlin, then myself, then positiverolemodel when he gets up, clean the kitchen and living room for an hour or so while eg watches cartoons, then get his butt in the car and take him somewhere to wear him out (in the summer, one of a dozen good parks in the area, in the winter, either the indoor playground at the mall, the toy area at the library, the train table at barnes and noble, or target or walmart to push all the buttons on stuff in the toy aisles... or grocery shopping, where i let him run around and talk to people until i'm tired, and then bribe him to sit in the cart with candy or chips and a soda...) come home, make lunch for the three of us, do whatever needs doing (laundry, bill-paying, repairs, cleaning, etc) ... maybe eg will take a nap, and i'll either work some more or read a book or practice an instrument or take a nap or get a nooner :D and then a nap :D ... late afternoon, prm will usually go out and play with eg and i'll make dinner, and after dinner, everything is done and we veg... watch a movie, go to a friend's house or have friends over, play music, whatever... and after eg goes to bed, more of the same, although lately we've been brewing beer after eg is not underfoot...

and i do it because there's nothing i'd rather be doing ... everybody is happy and stress-free :)
