*I know, not that impressive, but I am starting to like the little hotkeys.
iTouch is ok. I like the multiple buttons for "home, search, go, shopping, email, favourites, etc."
The volume control is nice, but it seems to go from silent to max in like the 1st 6 bars out of 20+. I wish it were more gradual. Havent played with the play and pause buttons yet. Master mute is cool and the scroller thingy on the left side of the keyboard will be conveinent.
Keys feel alright a little soft and not as nice as the IBM ones.
All in all not bad for $17. If could have found the matching mouse for $6.50, the whole package would have been $4 after MIR.*

Oh yeah and it's in that cool black color with some silver like that football team.

*The "work" above is yet another example of why Apex hasn't handed over the review duties to me yet.*

I also have the Logitech Elite Duo...Since you use the hotkeys, I was wondering...Does your itouch.exe program ever lock up or quit responding? Mine does about once a day. I have to close the program out from my system tray, and restart it, and then all my programmable buttons work fine for another day or so... I am using the most current version (2.15.264) of iTouch, and the most current MouseWare (9.75.302) on WinXP Pro...Any ideas?

good question.

I just started my computer and none of the hotkeys, volume, etc are working. The scroller on the keyboard works though.

I was thinking it was an XP problem cuz sometimes when I start the rig it configures itself differently. Sometimes XP offers to remember passwords and stuff and sometimes it doesn't do anything.

I'll probably stop by logitechs site and see if they have any forums later.

I think its an XP problem, what OS are you using?

Using XP Pro...no SP1 installed yet, though. Wonder if the SP would help it at all? I have looked on Logitech's help website but couldn't find anything other than "make sure you are using the most current version..." Let me know if you find anything!

Logitech makes the worst drivers in the world... seriously.

I also have a logitech elite kboard and sometimes it doesn't even interface with winamp. Sometimes it crashes and none of the play controls work. If i press one, it gives the BSOD and the comp restarts.

Boo to logitech, great hardware engineers but crappy software engineers.

I've had problems where my computer would lock up after start up once the desk top appears, I loaded Norton Utilities and ran there registry manager and it seemed to solve my problem.

I have the Logitech Elite Keyboard also, just picked it up today.

I let XP install it's own drivers for it, didn't even put the Logitech CD in the drive because I know how bad their drivers are. And low and behold, I have an amazingly well working keyboard!

Volume control works great...it doesn't go from silent to max as quickly as Jello stated, the scroll works, the Mute works. Hotkeys won't work though because you need the logitech software installed. But you know what, I wouldn't use them if they were working so it's pointless to me.

Anyway...it's a great keyboard all in all. I am happy with my purchase.

everything seems to be working now. watching the LOTR on DVD and the play/pause, chapter forward/rewind, etc works nicely. the master volume control works properly too.

might be the updated drivers.....
