Rebate Problems (Black Friday Stuff)

Hey, Does anyone experience any rebate problems with Staples and their Cendyne CDRW? I bought a 48x12x48 CDRW at staples, even tho the flyer said 40x12x48. The store manager said the rebate for the cendyne works for both. So she gave me the faster one.

Now. Rebateshq.com,

says its invalid "We did not receive the 40X12X48 CD-RW.Serial # for this product. Please send it to: ATTENTION RESUBMISSIONS, PO BOX 9013 Coppell, TX 75019."

Any Ideas?

my dad sent a rebate for a Cendyne 32X12X40X that he bought and it went through fine no problems... id goto staples and tell them ur dilemma, make them deal with it. :rolleyes:

the serial # is diff from the upc. not many places require it. If you do rebates on a regular basis, you should have a copies of what you sent in. I hope you at least have a pdf of the form or something. If you can take the drive out and write down the serial # explaining that thats all you have left now and maybe you'll get it, of course YMMV, but raise a stink and perhaps the CSR will let you go "this one time, since you are a valued Staples Customer".
