So I just found out my dad bought a house....

Of course, I wouldn't go live in it, unless I moved up north to a little town called Visalia,CA ( a town in between Bakersfield and Fresno ) But I am glad my dad bought this house, it was the house that my gramma lived in and my dad and aunts lived in growing up. The house reminds me so much of my gramma, even though I haven't been up there since they cleaned it out. I am really happy that it is staying in the family! :D

Well, they don't live out there, atleast as far as I know, no one is planning on living out there. But my dad's whole family lives out there and I haven't seen them in awhile, and once my car gets fixed I plan on going up there.

how lucky to have your gram's house stay in your family. i have to drive by my grandparent's house, and remember every room and all the memories and that someone else lives there. once i stopped and they let me go through it. bittersweet.

Well, that's kinda a funny thing, because when my great grandparents died, my aunts and uncles were torn on what to do with the house, some wanted to sell it and some wanted to keep it in the family, and I think they ended up selling it and it caused a big rift in the family.
