Hi all, i've never use Linux, and am thinking about buying the Red Hat Linux 8.0. Will it have drivers for my Audigy, my video and stuff like that. Is there another version of Linux you Linux guru's out there would think better for me. I know nothing about Linux. I just thought i'd like to try something new. My system specs is my signature. I also have 512mb of ram now. Any info or suggestions would be great. Thanks

Before you drop any money on a Linux distribution, I would suggest (provided you have a fast Internet connection) downloading one of the flavors of Linux to see if you like it. That way, you aren't out any cash if it doesn't work for you.

I would recommend Mandrake Linux (http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/) as a starter. It's very intuitive and pretty solid. I believe the Audigy drivers are included in the latest version.

Good luck!
