not for me, but for a friend of mine.
so i got a friend who has such a hard time trying to build a relationship with her mother. she tries to just talk with her mom, but her mom doesn't want to listen unless it something that the mom wants to hear. from what my friend tells me, the mom has a lot of pride and can't admit when she's wrong, which seems like a lot. there's a lot of pain from the past until the present because the mom doesn't seem like she wants to form a good mother-daughter relationship and another fight broke out last night which is causing a damper in their christmas cheers. as far as i know, it's been going on for years and my friend is really hurt and her mom knows of her problems, but takes them out on her. should they go to counseling to help mend the years of pain and foster a better relationship since the mom is so stubborn to change?
thanks.
