ok. so about a year ago, my dad woke up in the middle of the night with his nose bleeding uncontrolably. we took him to ER, and they kinda fixed him. the bleeding and everything caused his blood pressure to go way up. so he started getting dizzy, and light-headed, and weak. so he kept visiting the doctor occassionally.
everything's been fine for a few months now. and last night, he told me he wasn't feeling good. i grabbed my mom's stethescope (sp?) and checked his whatever it is that thing checks (my mommy taught me :D. she's a cna).
so it was kinda high... about 170 over 90. so i called my mom at work, and she told me to call her back if it gets worse. i check it 5 minutes later, and its 180 over 110. :eek: so i call my mom again and she tells me to take him to ER and that she'll leave work and meet us there.
so we got there at about midnight. we ended up leaving at around 3:30 am because the nurse that was "taking care" of my dad, left on her break, didn't tell anybody, and must have fallen asleep. so nobody came and checked on my dad for 2 hrs. we just waited and waited.
so we got home at 4am and went to bed.
what sucks is that my parents had to get up at 7 to go to work again.
they dragged me along. :(
