Is it me or does everyone seem high strung these days, maybe it's the economy or just plain old holidays or it could be the weather. It seems you can't have a conversation without someone blowing a gasket, one wrong word and pow. Maybe it's my sense of humor...

It depends on what you mean " high strung"...
If you're pushing buttons, it would be a given that someone would be bound to "blow a gasket"....
Depending on what the "one wrong word" was, and who you were saying it to.....
anddddddd...you have to understand that not everyones sense of humor is the same...I have one, but I also like to be serious too...sometimes more than I should...though, I love to stick a "funny" in between serious conversations to break up the tension...as in the abortion/adoption thread...I think they're talking about clinton now...
Are you a clown 24/7...do you think everything is funny? or can you be serious? Do you take a serious conversation and turn it into a "fun, joking thing"? Because that can be very irritating for the person that's trying to have the conversation with you...blahhh blahhhhh blahhhhhh...
:amidala:

See, everyone loves putting the blame on others in stead of facing the fact that the holidays are a time of depression. But I guess you are all to busy trying to prove that you are adults. Relax, put your feet up and get off the sand paper. Have a nice day :)

it's like that deal that goes like this:
person 1: "you're an alcoholic!"
person 2: "nah, i'm not"
person 1: "see? there's my proof! you're in denial!"
it's like a total non sequitur and leaves people scratching heads and wondering what just happened. of course the person making the original charge claims victory over the matter
