Stupid Amercan checkers rules, what the hell is this, why can't you eat backwards, why can the king only move 1 square, what is this horror that you call checkers????

hmm, the way ive learned, you can eat backwards with a king, but can only move it one square in a move.

The internation rules of checkers state that:
A king can move any number of squares on a diagonal backswards and forward.
A regular checker can eat forward and backward and can move only one square.
That is how i was taught, this is how i played all my life, who the hell gave America the permission to rape the rules like that

I'm used to the "REAL" checkers, by the official rules,
and Markel, I'm not a sore loser it just cost me one move where i could have taken 5 pieces... i still won the game

Are you sure the whole rest of the world plays by those International Rules?
And is there a checkers tournament system kinda like there is for Chess?

Why dont you just stick to chess? its more challenging, strategical, and overall fun
