You're starting a new job...you're nervous...and as you walk through the door on your first day...Its a given...you always come across two people...the one that trips on their own feet to greet you....and the one that stands back leaning on the wall glaring like you've come to take over the center chair.....

......are you the person that we all dread when starting a new job...the stand back and size em up person...or are you the "friendly face"...the one that helps you along, shows you the ropes...introduces you to everyone including the pope...

Glarer. I don't want to talk to them, and hopefully they won't have to talk to me.

Yes, I don't talk to people at work. I see no point in chatting, because I don't want to be friends with anyone I work with.

I'm both. I'll trip over my feet to greet you, even as I size you up a peer deep into your soul.

Neither. Why should the dictator... I mean leader have to greet every new peon?

Everyone's a peon at one time in their life...why not make it easier for someone...
I've always figured..if you made someones life a little bit easier, less stressful or helped someone to "fit in" in whatever way you could...its bound to come full circle one day...

...no congeniality awards on your wall, eh Nija ? :P

In my ROTC class in High School, I got an award from my class.

It was called the ******* award. I was so proud to be recognized :D

In the end I actually ended up getting some pretty nifty awards from our unit banquet, but I actually framed the A-hole award, and put it up on my wall for a time. I was soooo proud of it :D

Somehow I don't think you're an A-hole...I think you just like to be perceived as one....:)

I am definately the guy that will greet you and show you around. Not to be helpful, but to get you to trust me so that I have a clear shot at your back when I need it.
