Need help bios update with XP pro

Hi all, I want to update my bios for my mobo. I'm running XP pro it wont boot from the floppy to update the bios. How do I do this, any help would be great. Thanks

Odd. It must be set not to boot to your bios. Or use a Win 98 boot disk.

did you make an XP "System Disk?" you can do that when you format your floppy. I had that wont-boot problem many many times though too, so if you are already doing that, then get some nice boot disk from www.bootdisk.com

Damn I can be stupid sometimes. I figured it out myself. Thanks to all who posted. When ever I put in a dos formated disk in the floppy the os tells me its not dos compatible, but thats only with my Maxtor format disk. 98se boot disk works fine. Sorry
