and noticing that it actually didn't ask me to upgrade. which is odd. the last 4 or so times i've used the pos it's asked me to. so it seems the ratio of upgrading to using is actually widening.

aight, so who uses this pos and can tell me how to get results? it seems promising...but for some reason i get nuttin...

i just started to use winmx a few days ago, it was giving me crazy bsod's on my box so i kept getting pushed back in the queue.

basically find the file you want and wait for it. i wasnt getting anything for the first 12 hours, then after that i finally started to get some ssssllloooowwww downloads but now it seems to be working, although even after 36 hours i still havent gotten 1 complete iso. and none of the other files in my queue have even started.

this really isnt a good system for dialup users unless its a really popular file that lots of people have.

compared to kazaa and limewire, im turning up many more results, but they are taking me hella longer to dl because of the whole queue system. this system puts you in line to dl a file, where kazaa is kind of a lottery system where you get in by chance if someone is busyl.

yeah, i've just preferred grokster for a while. but i thought i'd give winmx a chance. i hated to see audiogalaxy go because they were rad for rare stuff. maybe i'll check out limewire.

winmx is good some days, bad others. Seems to depend on net traffic or voodoo or something. It's really not a good program for iso's though.
