another APEX problem

ok, for whatever reason, the speed issuse has cleared up. i'm back to normal speeds on RR. but now, about 80% of the time, i have to click the back button twice. the first time i click it, the litte windows icon spins and the status bar runs like the page is going, but it dosen't go anywhere. then i click back again, and i go back. weird.

i think it only happens on RR. i'll verify that at work tomorrow.

lol That is why. The ads are REALLY messed up for some reason. :( They are working on it.

I had some problems the other day and somehow wound up posting a thread twice. It's the only time I had a problem, other than that it's been working fine.

you all probably installed the supertrick to kill access to ad sites.

you need to do 2 things to fix this. first open your HOSTS file, there is no file extension. it should be in the x:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc folder. open it with notepad and find all the sites which serve the got|apex ads. i dont know what those are so you are going to have to figure that out yourselves. now just delete all those entries from the HOSTS file. you will see the ads now but you wont have to hit back twice. its a good idea to remove the ones for G|A referral links as well.

on second thought, just try this HOSTS file (http://www.lemonizer.com/uploads/HOSTS)
right click and save as...
