Do any of ya'll know if Windows XP Home edition has this or something that is about the same? If not....can someone point me to a program that acts the same?

You get the trashcan...throw xp home in...and get xp pro!!! Or maybe...This could work...you can even downgrade to windows ME
or better yet....put windows CE, windows ME, and windows NT on your computer...
and what do you get? Windows CEMENT!!! ahhaahha

Well, you could open up the Run dialog (Start -> Run... or Win-R) and type compmgmt.msc and press Enter. That'll bring up the computer management console. From there, click the [+] next to Shared Folders and you can see your current Shares, Sessions, and Open Files.
You also can get a copy of netwatch.exe from the Windows NT 4 resource kit. I belive it works under XP.
