Rollerskating....

Today for work I went Roller Skating...at a place called Skate Express in Chino or some place that was INSANLEY far from where the school is. We had about 80 - 90 kids there today...all crammed on one bus, with some 4 to a seat ( the smaller kids ) and the staff had to sit in there too...I got lucky though...there simply just WASN'T room, so one of the directors ended up driving her car there, so 5 of us councilors ended up having space...and air conditioner and music and NO SCREAMING KIDS...It was heaven....

Until we got to the skating place....kids didn't know there shoe sizes...alot of them didn't know HOW to skate...so it was a pain in the butt to try to go around the rink holding up 3-4 kids...have you ever done it? If not your lucky...my back was killing me after and I am really tired and exhausted.....

But I had fun...I hadn't been roller skating in a while...and I use to do it all the time when I was younger...( I make myself sound OLD ) I used the older skates...not the rollerblades...didn't wanna kill myself today....

So do you like to rollerskate? rollerblade? what? Or am I just a dork for having fun rollerskating???

Love rollerskating/rollerblading. Knew how to rollerskate pretty soon after I learned how to walk. It was the next logical step for the pathologically lazy like me. :D

I really wanna go rollerskating. But I'm scared. When I was 10, I was riding a skateboard, hit a crack in the pavement and flew off. Hit the pavement face first and knocked my 2 front teef out on the concrete. OUCH!!

It just AIN'T gonna happen again! :(

I miss rollerblading and ice skating. I used to do that until I was about 14. Also, they don't sell blades that will fit a male who wears a size 16 shoe in men's. :P You have to have them custom made, and I don't have the money for that.

I suck at skating....emphasis on the suck part....:D

I'm so horrible at it....I can never stop. So....I would start going...be able to turn a little bit and then when ever I needed to stop, I would just run into a wall or something. :)

Yeah I'm pretty bad at rollerblading/skating also. I have no sense of balance whatsoever so I am a hazard not just to myself but others around me as well when I'm on rollerbaldes. Say, Pink is Chino by Chino Hills? I had some family that use to live in Chino Hills and I use to visit my cousin there every once in a while. Nice place to live.

Chino hills and Chino are like 40 miles away from each other.
