the comic one is really neat though...

when you and a friend talk...
you're a hero, and the other person is a villian and your words are in balloons....

that's pretty cool.

and your faces come out on the characters faces..

maybe I'm just a dork, but I thought that was cool

that was another thing i didn't like. I couldn't go scrolling back through the conversation. Sometimes I don't remember what the hell the person and I are talking about, and I start scrolling back for a refresher, but i couldn't do that with those IMs.

FYI, you can also get something similar for your outlook.
