I was over at slickdeals.net and saw this great deal. Great for supplies for college or whatever you need!
This deal looks to be through a yahoo promotion(sorry about that http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hey.. that's an affiliate link. Might want to edit your post.
Does this place have anything worth buying? I could not find a single thing I might need. Their computer selection is pathetic too!

At first I thought it was a good deal, but after looking at the prices on that site....omigosh. I was looking for some computer desks, and the prices that they had were just preposterous.

The deals there can be a little sad. For example, even with the $30 bucks of "value dollars", the snack food items there remain above the prices at Sam's Club / Costco.
However, there are some bargains there that you cannot find elsewhere:
a. HP Inkjet Cartridges (51645A black for most modern HP printers, 51649A colour for older HP printers).
b. Copy paper for your laserprinter. Look up the copy paper special in the copy paper section for $1.99 (hope it is still there). It is $1.99 normally, but the value dollars cuts it way down.
c. Order a few extra cheap Ray-O-Vac 2xAA flashlites (black & teal).
d. They have the Sparco version of post-it notes made in Germany out of extra-thin paper that are a good deal if you run through post-its like water.
e. Enter the term "avery magnetic" in the search window to find the Avery magnetic sheets that you can put into your inkjet to print whatever (like business cards or anti-RIAA logos). Cut the designs apart and they will stick to anything flat that a magnet will.
f. Some of the Avery D-Ring binders are a good deal with the value dollars.
g. A hard to find item (not easily found in their index) is "computation pad" at the search window. While the price is not all that hot compared to the college bookstore, note that you save on tax, and you can use it to get up to the $60 total you need.
h. Additional inkjet paper varies, but the best value is the Great White inkjet paper. Only a cool deal compared to Value America of old, but it is still better than my local Office Max.
But really, the inkjet inks are the best deal. They don't carry the C6578A color cartridge for HP 970 and 930 type printers, so that is too bad. I've sent in a request that they stock that cartridge. Now, wouldn't that be a good request for everyone to make? If they stock it, then we can buy it, so if you have a DJ-970 or DJ-930 printer or any other printer using the C6578A colour cartridge, please request it at the site's customer service.
